Hannah Feinsilber is an experienced chemistry tutor and researcher with a strong academic background and a longstanding connection to the Chapel Hill community. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she first began tutoring students in General, Analytical, and Biochemistry.

Currently, Feinsilber is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Utah State University. She has accumulated over five years of professional tutoring experience at Rogue Chem, where she has helped numerous students strengthen their understanding of complex chemical concepts and improve their academic performance. In addition to teaching, Feinsilber conducts graduate research in Dr. Lance Seefeldt’s laboratory, focusing on nitrogenase—the enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of atmospheric nitrogen gas (N₂) into ammonia (NH₃). This research integrates biochemistry, catalysis, and molecular biology, reflecting her broad expertise in chemistry
